Sorry it's been so long since I've uploaded any photos. Now that I've found a job it's suddenly much more difficult to maintain two websites, not to mention the fact that photography has been pretty slow lately. We still have at least one more camping trip planned this year so hopefully I'll get enough shots then to keep things going for a while!
I took this picture a few weeks ago when we went to the park, and I can't help but thinking they look like dozens of little pendulums swinging back and forth. What do you think?
We just got back from a wonderful visit to Alley Springs in Eminence, Missouri, and I am really enjoying going through some of the pictures I took during our trip. This shot of an old, one-room school house is one of my favorites.

We had a pretty bad ice-storm sweep through our area this winter and, as you can see, it left a pretty thick layer of ice on all our of our trees. Thankfully we didn't have to deal with any power-outages, though others in our area were not so fortunate. |

| Did you notice my new watermark? I designed it this evening and I thought it turned out pretty neat. Let me know what you think. |

I love the lighting in the picture. It seems to give everything a warm feel even amidst the bitter cold of winter. |

Merry Christmas! I was so happy that we were blessed with snow this 25th of December, and have spent quite a bit of time today out enjoying the beautiful day.

In photography, there are several "rules" - most of which I usually try to abide by fairly consistently. On occasion, though, breaking the rules can produce some really neat results. I shot this tree dead-center to accentuate the glow of the sun that was directly behind the trunk and I am extremely happy with the way it turned out, even though centering your subject is usually considered bad photography. |

| Something about this tree sparked my interest, and I took a few pictures of it it before continuing our hike. Though I really like the angle, the picture still doesn't convey how enormous this tree really was. What do you think? |
