Family Reunion

Sitting in the middle of a beautiful glade with my family, I decided to walk around a bit and see what nature around was worth photographing. I came across this small tree and noticed that, every few seconds, ants were scurrying across its branches in either one direction or the other. It took me a while to figure out where they were all going, but I was finally able to get this cool shot of them all gathered together on a couple of the leaves. Can you see the tiny eggs near the main stem?

What a perfect shot! You should submit your nature photo's to a magazine or something.

Amber,

Our state nature conservation has a periodic magazine, and I'm always sending them pictures. They usually feature one reader submitted photo each month, and so I'm hoping they'll use one of mine someday.

Dakota,

You amaze me! Everything is so clear and vivid! I love it!

The magazine that is run by your state nature conservation needs to "get on the ball" and submit some of your photographs! :)

This is a really neat photo. I'm actually a wedding photographer and so I mostly just end up photographing people but these are certainly inspiring me to get out in nature a bit more like I used to. Thank you. :)
