Wild Grapes

This is a photo I took back in July of some wild grapes I spotted during a camping trip of ours. Apparently the birds had missed this particular cluster, because they were much larger than any others in the surrounding area. I had to climb up onto a nearby bench, but I was finally able to get a satisfactory shot.

I thought this photo I took tonight was pretty neat. I really like the silk-like strands running all over the background, and the brownish strand that runs along the edge of each blade looks really neat to me. 

By the way, this is a yucca, in case you were wondering.

These thorns are part of the same rosebush as my last photo. I actually got poked a couple times trying to get the perfect shot of this plant. 

Evening Glow

I love the lighting in this shot. Even though it’s of the same subject from three photos down, the overall feel is completely different. As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve had a very fun day taking pictures.

What I Do on Saturday

Most people are probably spending their Saturday watching movies and planning a night out with the family. And while there’s no shame in that, I prefer to use my spare time taking pictures – what I’ve been doing a good part of the afternoon. Here’s a taste of what I came up with.

4 Leaf Clover

It gets on my family’s nerves that I’m able to find these things so easily. When I decided I’d like to have a photo of a four leaf clover earlier today, it took me about 3 minutes to find this magnificent specimen. Years ago, I found 17 of them in one hour’s time. No joke.

Who Knew…

…that fungus could be so attractive? I thought this was a really pretty rock, despite the fungus that was engulfing it.

Okay, so it's techinically not wheat, but I didn't know what else to title this post. Plus, it's not as if the average Joe would be able to tell the difference (like me). :-D
