As Rivers of Water in a Dry Place

Hiking through the mountains after heavy rains, all of the water collected in this creek bed and flowed beautifully through the forest. It lasted for more than a mile, and all along the way you could see smaller streams flowing over the rocks and through the leaves, eventually making their way here, joining together, and forming this most beautiful piece of scenery.

Aren't they so beautiful? During our last camping trip there was one flowing just a few yards from our tent. I followed it for a long time, and just when I thought it was drying up I saw another one come alongside it. I ended up getting so far away from camp that I had to turn back. :D
